Retrospectively, I can tell that ST:TNG's Riker pressed the relevant button; it was Stephen Dorff in Blade 1 is probably the one that confirmed it first.

It's really weirdly placed, but kinda puts the whole story into context, in terms of the creative arts/music/culture. Don't think it's important for a story point of view, but...it's nice.

The sheer amount of people who walked out of the cinema during the last couple scenes (that put everything into context and closed things off) was...horrific. I thought it was a nice closure for everything and worked, so would hope there wouldn't be a sequel.

Won't be watching until later, but genuinely wondering how would go down, cos was totally expecting there to be LOTS of complaints about how all of the show would/is going. Will watch later and compare notes.
