It looks to me that I am settling into a balanced training load and something I can handle. Meanwhile I continue to build fitness and endurance leading up to my HM training block. I felt great today on my run. Felt like I could have gone a long ways even though I’d already run 43 miles this week. 👍🏃‍♂️

My fitness level is at 119 on the TSB model, which is higher than it was when I was training and executed my half marathon in October. The fatigue is high, too, which isn’t great. However, my training load is dropping as I dial back in intensity on some runs and get in better shape.

Don’t forget the great coaching by Indiana coach Bobby Knight.

Today versus one month ago. Almost as far. 40 seconds/mile faster. Lower heart rate.

He should have thrown them out of practice!

He didn’t bring in Jimmy Butler to screw with the team’s morale so the Knicks didn’t get the whole experience.

Yes! Every single person from ESPN picked the Lakers and it was a blowout the other way.

Sure would like to see them win a title, but given the franchise’s history of incompetence coupled with horrible luck, I’m gonna be okay that they got there regardless of how it happened.

That goes against everything I was ever taught. I have worked hard at not blowing too much energy at the start though. 🤷‍♂️ trying to get smarter.

I live on top of a ridge. I take the steeper path down and the more gradual incline back. 😅

I have run 177 miles in the last 30 days, which I know is the most in a 30 day period since high school and probably ever. 1272 miles in last 365 days, also the most ever. On pace for 1099 miles. Why yes I do have a spreadsheet to track all this. 😃

Problem is that was already US policy to deport criminals. To get deportation numbers up now, they need to deport law abiding people. Or hey maybe that was ALWAYS the idea. Get rid of the brown people.

One of the most unbelievable things ever was that in just over ten years we went from their 59 second flight in(?) on(?) a wooden plane to the use of fighter planes in WWI.

I’m so old, I actually remember the Knicks winning a title. That’s old, man.

They did, in fact, vote for a convicted felon who led an insurrection against this country. If that’s the kind of person you vote for, you voted for everything that he does. Sorry, not sorry.

Ran 3.5km before the race to get to 175 miles for the month. I’m gonna try for about the same number of miles in June (1 fewer day) but work on increasing intensity. Half marathon training plan starts July 13th.

First parkrun: I ran 200 steps and walked the rest. Slowly built up until I could run the whole thing.

I like that he sold the team before valuations really exploded.

165 miles this month with 2 days to go. If I average 165 miles a month for the rest of the year, that would be 1592 miles. 1500 miles is doable.

I’m too old for all of the meta nonsense I’ve seen on here lately.
