She means an Array[Array[int]]. You can use the type, but the type system can only check one layer, ie. it sees it as an Array[Array].

I thought nested types should be easy to implement, so I downloaded the Godot source and messed around with it a bit. Most of the code was already there, just had tweak it.

It's certainly concise but seems to run in O(N^2).

I wanted to try using ranges more as well, but part 2 made me write a regular loop instead. Ranges are sometimes just too clumsy/inefficient that it's not worth the hassle.
