Everyone's being really weird over a photograph. She's probably in there fighting for our state despite having to go up against Trump.

I don't love the idea of book burning but I recognize sitting down and writing notes of criticism in then would be unrealistic.

Looks like she could be Kilala's big sister haha

I sent you my residual sick energy, thanks for taking it off my hands.

Giggling and kicking my feet everytime an asshole is like "No! You have to listen to us spew hate and intolerance or you're the problem!" And then I just block and go back to my gaming feed :].

I have good news, other media for that exists. Try reddit.

Chester has such a lil derpy face I love him. I need to eventually switch out one of my normal villagers for a sisterly but I'm so attached to everyone...

I enjoy that Beardo is so polarizing. People seem to love or hate him lmao. I just added Sasha and I am super happy, he's a top 5 lazy for me.

Honestly Hank I just forget you exist when I'm not actively seeing your posts on my dash. My object permanence about influencers will never let me hate you.

Who are you hoping to get for your next villager? Looking for any certain personality/species?

Yeah how dare someone spend life in a way they enjoy- instead of focusing on being a soulless cog in the machine.

Me enjoying blocking these Maga idiots rather than responding, knowing that it enrages them more to be ignored 🥰

Thank you! That affirmation made my afternoon 🥰

Sorry, I have seen some people serious about that lol

I'm fighting for everyone's basic rights (self autonomy, food, shelter, water, medical) even if I fucking loathe them. Because human rights should not depend on what kind of human you are. There's plenty of consequences for Republicans that don't need to include stripping those rights.

It's not discussion at that point. And thus it's not educational. If we want discussion there is healthy mediums for it. Blocking those who are toxic or bigoted is not the same as avoiding healthy learning discussions.

I mean I find it unreal people want to vote on a right at all. Imagine I said "Not all the states want you to have the right to an attorney, but don't worry they'll leave it in voters hands." Like what?? If people wanted to lessen abortion the vote should be about maternity leave length ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Abortion is the most prominent right now. If someone goes "I don't personally agree with Abortion but I'm not going to push for it to be banned." That's fine, whatever. "I want it to be up to the states (that way only some women will be effected and risk dying)." block. Bye.

I mean you replied to my comment that I wouldn't engage with people who wanted to deny rights. I'm simply going to block those people and move on. There's better things in life to do than feed the bigotted attention...

There is too many bad faith actors on those platforms. If the issue is something like "How much budgeting should the military have." I'd be open to discuss and disagree. Getting rid of rights I'm not open to debate.

Engaging with hateful viewpoints is not growth. It wears you down. If someone wants to grow and learn (which I encourage) then luckily there is thousands of literature to help them do so.

True, but now Marina's song is playing in my head.

I need more sisterly villagers. Or let me have more total villagers

If the politic views are "X shouldn't get rights" then no lol

3. There is still a majority of bad companies especially older children/teens/adults and it's very difficult to distinguish from the outside what it is. Places that have OT/Speech and natural play based teaching are usually good signs. I wish there was something better for you as an adult though.

(2) There are some clinics/schools that try to do trauma informed, assent based approaches that only seek to teach alternatives to SIB (like head bashing or PICA) but do not touch nonharmful stims. These are unicorns though mostly in the early intervention field.

Yeah ABA therapy is the only thing insurance really wants to cover unfortunately which I think a lot of people would like to ignore and simply say avoid Aba instead of "how can we reform this system that is the only access some people have? (1)
comment in response to post
A lot of this seems a bit antiquated. It's important to remember the dark roots of ABA (and most special education roots in the US unfortunately.) But given outdated info and using catch alls can hurt the point you're trying to make.
