OK fine, but de Blasio wasn’t satisfied with being the mayor of the most important city in the US. Nope, he ran for a second term, won, then IMMEDIATELY declared himself a candidate for President. Hen was the Democratic Chris Christie, always looking the the next step up.

It was Cuomo who split NY State Democrats by aiding and abetting the IDC group. That helped him neutralize any progressive state initiatives. I will never forget that.
