a friend of mine shared this ai-generated "emotion wheel" and unfortunately i have been laughing my ass off at it for like 15 minutes now. today i am feeling Fnliinneon

Those living without chronic pain: 1) I'm jealous 2) It's not a question of *if* I hurt, but where and how much right *now* 3) Because my most acute pain was in one location yesterday (or even an hour ago), don't assume that's still the case.

Feels so good when people use my preferred pronouns!

Guy on the other side of the cubicle is talking confidently about Atlantean society and culture, and "what they thought" about various subjects.

My mom was surprised that the kids she knew, her nieces, as well as their friends, were/are terrified of police. She grew up with an Andy Griffith idea of law enforcement. We grew up knowing that Rodney King, George Floyd, Brionna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and more are not isolated incidents.

Had the memorial service for dad this afternoon. While it was very religious overall (not my thing, but definitely his), it was a beautiful tribute to how many people's lives he touched. About 250 family, friends, clients, and vendors either came or watched the church's first livestream attempt.

I need a dayβ€”just one dayβ€”to relax. I might be able to fit that in...*checks schedule*...late-July, unless, as it inevitably will, something comes up. I literally have something on my schedule every day between now and July 26. Then, maybe, just maybe, I can have a normal schedule again?

Excited for my vacation in September: @kansascitycurrent.bsky.social (@nwslsoccer.com) game, KC Renaissance Festival, and a Halestorm/Lindsay Stirling/Apocalyptica concert. What other "girl power"-themed trouble can I plan to get into in KC?

Okay, #Booksky πŸ“š. I recall a book, or a series, that I read a *lot* of years ago, that took place in the world where lone socks from dryers end up. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about? It would've been in a YA or children's section of a library...

I did it. I'm not proud, but my morbid curiosity got the better of me. I downloaded a couple of those "AI girlfriend" apps. I know it's going to reinforce whatever algorithm showed me the ads in the first place, but that's basically all I got anyway. As it is, though, I have some thoughts:

Now this is a band promo!

Bluesky is dying? As long as folks continue to post cute pictures of their pets and don't ridicule me for my gender identity, I'll be here...

Is there ever enough time? I hear rumors of boredom, but I'm not sure I've experienced it...

Saw Lilo & Stitch earlier today. I agree with many others that it's one of the best Disney live-action remakes to date. And if you're an Elvis Presley fan, great music, too!
