We are in the final hours for @mxdomestic.bsky.social 's fundraiser for @trevorproject.bsky.social . My Progress Pride quilt is up for auction! This beautiful extra long twin quilt could be yours! #QuiltSky 🏳️‍🌈 #progressPride www.instagram.com/p/DLGjfb4ht00/

Joined in @jamesbbarrow.bsky.social art along, and this week's prompt was "illuminating the darkness". This pattern is from Kelli Fannin. Made it in 2 hours with scraps. Sewing is a way to bring joy in dark times. When I see scraps, I see what I made before: masks, shirt, mando quilt. #QuiltSky

Bidding has started for my Progress Pride quilt! The auction lasts until June 29th at 5pm pacific time (8pm eastern US time), and benefits Trevor Project. The auction is hosted on instagram by @mxdomestic.bsky.social fundraiser! www.instagram.com/p/DLGjfb4ht00/

The Progress Pride quilt I made will be up for auction starting tomorrow on Instagram through @mxdomestic.bsky.social fundraiser for @trevorproject.bsky.social . Auction is from June 22-29, 2025. Happy to answer any questions about the quilt! #quiltsky www.instagram.com/p/DLGjfb4ht0...

Assembled this eevee quilt block in 2 days. I think it will become a pillowcase. Pattern from Kelli Fannin. #quiltsky

I sent this off to be quilted in April, and finally got around to binding it last week. I am really pleased with the ghosts popping out in the design. I got the striped binding fabric from my neighbor. I'm a sucker for Halloween print fabric. #quiltsky

My current work in progress. Mystery quilt from Charlotte Hawkes of Making Scrappy Quilts. Going back to add to clue 1 blocks, the small square and triangle blocks to the right, while waiting for the next and final clue in a few days. #quiltsky

Work in progress! A cardinal bird quilt block that I was inspired after seeing a wooden barn quilt on my feed, and after this week's art along prompt, Nest Building. I just need to reverse the design for the female cardinal.

Taking a moment to celebrate that I think I finally figured out the quarter inch seam! My current project. Look how much the project shrinks with each seam!

Finally got inspired of what to do so far with my scrappy pride flags. My brain had been noodling about a multi-pride flags together on a quilt or flag. Not sure what will be added next; it could use panels above or below, or a border. Feel like it could have a phrase or something too.

It's the first home game of the season for the Atlanta Braves. I just finished binding this crib quilt using scraps, and the white, red, navy solid from my stash.

I declare it done. I am probably going to give this top to someone in my quilt guild. It's imperfect, but scratched a creative itch to get rid of the scraps I had around.

My #RWArtMonth 2025 fan art book is now available for pre-orders! Only available for 3 weeks, until April 14th at 11.59pm BST. The #RainWorld art month isn't finished yet, but I wanted to make my book available earlier this time. Order yours here: ko-fi.com/jamesbbarrow...

I cut only two fabrics during this scrappy project, blue and white gnome fabrics I got a few years ago. The rest is Old Town Mystery leftovers and leader/enders (multi-color 4 patch). Hopefully have this top done by next week.

Catching up, this is what I worked on over winter holidays. Blocks from the @quiltville-bonnie.bsky.social Old Town Mystery, which gave a direction weekly. I appreciated using scrappy/stash.

Right on

I'm reading "Die with Zero" about having experiences to create memories that last a lifetime. One very memorable trip was to Albuquerque for the Annular Eclipse 2023, and on impulse, we saw Balloon Fiesta. I'm making a wall hanging to remember how awe-inspiring it was.

I found a modified vintage pattern by @daftpatience.bsky.social. Scrounged up some scrap fabric and made a little fanart of @purrplecat.bsky.social.
