Great news! There was a cat hanging around my property. When I finally built up trust I was able to see most of the tattoo number, posted it on Facebook & found out he'd been missing for 18 mths! Cats are resilient! Never give up on a lost cat.

Dead chickens to eat. The point is that they think it's murder to cull the ostriches (which have been sold for meat in the past) yet the killing of 41 chickens for them to eat is somehow a justifiable "murder".

In the past this farm has killed ostriches for meat and oil. Perhaps the eggs used for pharma research bring in more $$ now.
Meanwhile, the supporters protesting the killing of ostriches have accepted 41 lbs of chicken and are looking for a donation of beef or a bison.

Pets are the best a distracting us so we can take a moment for a gentle pet, a walk or cuddle. When I was teleworking with 3 monitors my cat would jump up on the desk exactly at 3 pm, turn off each monitor and splay out on the keyboard. I got the message.
