This is the first video I have ever seen showing the 'SCL Unicorn' computer - an officially licensed BBC Micro sold in India. This one looks in great condition. I've no idea if it is working, I just stumbled across the video and there was no further information about it!

Are you old enough to know what this is? Very satisfying removing this...

In Germany my job title was 'Software-Entwickler', I rather like the sound of that. This article was in the June 2001 'PC Games Hardware' magazine. It covered the Intel Pentium 4 demo I was working on at Rage Software that featured a real-time NURBs based renderer.

The amazingly talented LEGO City Undercover team at TT Fusion. Great working with such awesome people.

If I had the space, and spare cash, these are four of the retro computers I'd love to have set-up and ready to use. What four computers would you choose - 1970s/80s only!

I have just published a new GitHub repository entitled 'ExileArchives'. This contains 9 pre-release versions of the BBC Mico game Exile. I recently re-archived these from the original disks that were sent to Superior Software BITD. Read more about their history here:- github.com/KevEdwards/E...

There's almost nothing remaining of the abandoned Playstation game 'Sprial Saga'. Software Creations began work on this game in late 1995. After many months of development it was cancelled/axed. Here a some of the development files/folders from a very early, incomplete version - May 1996.

These are the original BBC Micro 'Knight Lore' player sprites and objects from Paul Proctor's development disks. They show the character graphic and mask. The mask is used to retain the background image around the player character. The software sprite routine does ( background AND mask ) OR graphic.

Some of my old soldering/fixing tools from the 1980/90s I found in the shed. I didn't use them very often. My soldering skills suck - excuse the pun. I think that solder is probably banned these days due to the high lead content.

A great big stack of 'Your Computer' magazines from the early/mid 1980s for me to browse through over the coming months. I rather good multi-format magazine that had plenty of good technical articles, reviews and news. A golden era.

Would you choose a BBC Micro Model A ( 16K ) or a ZX Spectrum ( 16K )? A rather odd question to ask, especially because of the price difference. Those two models were not great sellers anway, but I guess if you're comparing entry level systems. Anyway, Acorn User magazine ran this 'unbiased' article
