"They want a nation of tiered citizenship based on race, religion and ideology" So, basically the same it's ever been, in every single anglo plantation style country?

TBF, Trump's USA are way less racist and fascist-lite, -like, etc, etc, whatever you might see it, than at pretty much any given time in their history, bar a short window sometimes in the late 20th cent. "A lot longer than a couple months" indeed.

Mleh. As per the other comment, please block & silence me, because your comment is just another implicitly racist expression of (hurt) US exceptionalism. Demonstrations or not, you don't have a clue about how you look from abroad. Get back at us when things actually change. FFS.

A most american hobby - though, TBH, the 2025 version pales compared to historical local mores (no lynchings, no emasculating, no routine extra-judicial killings by LEO,...). Past USA, say until the 60's?, are looking at limp-wristed current USA with disgust and a touch of pity, I'm sure.

I prefer that gal's frank (heh) anglo anti-French racism to the almost insulting hand-wringing, "say, did you know they renamed French fries into freedom fries? How quaint!". She's who you are, always have been. Just as Trump is, as his followers are. And in this honesty, they're x1000 cleaner.

Self-righteous nonsense. The LOloL-White-flAg-Never-won-a-War-surrender-MoNkeys-Only-dropped-once!1! lynching mood of 2002-2005, 2007 was completely "bi-partisan" and fully embraced by the US public at large. And nothing was learned, it just became the default lens through which France is now seen.
