That is a cool and original joke. Did you come up with that all by yourself?

Travis Kelce was pro-vax. I guess you aren't. You're a moron.

Besides any Repiblican?

Why? They are the epitome of MAGA. KC with Kelce and Taylor Swift are the bad guys, remember? They believe in vaccines and democracy and stuff.

Bitch. Have some kids, then talk. I was on your side. You are clueless.

Well, graduating HS would fall under education...

I agree...But people can't afford to lose their jobs. We can't afford that.

Teachers are absolutely powerless and we wonder why education is failing and why teachers are quitting. Education is what made America great. Now it is seen as brain washing. Teaching the kids to be "woke," which they consider bad.

Well, I hope you at least understand the issues that those in the education field face. They can't do anything. In some places you can get fired over teaching the "wrong" books. People think they are teaching them boys can be girls and have a litter box.

The power I have is to yell at the kids to come back and stack their trays. That's it. My hands are tied.

But I'm not allowed to be tough with the kids. They complain to their parents and I get fired. That's why teachers are having such a hard time. They are at the mercy of the kid's parents. Schools are terrified to punish kids because of the repercussions. You're asking me to take care of parents...

I'm not sure I follow...being too soft on kids is how we ended up with Trump?
comment in response to

Honestly, if it were up to me...I would ask them WHY they didn't stack their tray correctly. Make them think about it, and tell me why.
comment in response to

Yeah, I guess I'm the soft one...I will do some barking tho. If I'm raising my voice and talking to the teacher, you messed up...
comment in response to

Oh, I agree...but that's above my pay grade and would never fly...plus it would be against regulations to have kids wash the trays. You are thinking "back then." We can't do things like that around here.

A lot of our kid's parents are well off. Business owners, athletes, even a Hollywood screen writer. A lot of them are just spoiled.

There isn't a consequence that affects them, that we can do as kitchen staff. Do you have any suggestions?
Like I said, most of the kids do it correctly. Some fix them. Some don't care. It doesn't change, regardless of what we do. I think it comes down to what goes on at home.

I guess all I can do is try to raise MY kids correctly. I think we are doing well...

Humiliation? Embarrassment? You can't do anything to kids. If you do, their parents complain...

Honestly, sometime I think we need to bring the dunce hat back...but that's called child abuse...

For example, I will stand there and look at the kids and they don't stack their trays correctly. My coworkers will yell at them and tell them to fix it. At the end of the year, it's still the same kids not stacking their trays. I do work at a very affluent school...

The consequences largely depend on the staff/teacher. For example, they act different around me than my co-workers. Some teachers do more than others.

You may be correct, but I believe there is a part you can't teach. I try to think about my upbringing. I have always been a people pleaser. I always wanted to make my parents proud or happy. What I have learned later in life is my dad has narcissistic personality disorder...He is selfish AF...

I have a similar test at the elementary school I work at. When kids are done with their lunch, they stack their trays. They all know how to do it. Some kids toss them up there every time, some stack them correctly, others fixed the ones that are messed up. Easy way to judge kids.

The shopping cart test is a test of character and integrity. It can't be taught. It shows who will do the right thing without a reward and without getting in trouble for not doing so. What will they do when no one is watching.

Mina, can you explain a "replay assist?" When do they use it? If they can replay any play, what is the point of challenges? Seems like replay assist is just a way to rig a game. What am I missing?

I just think about if it was my daughter. We finally had a baby girl. I have 2 older boys. My wife and I talk to them about how to treat girls.

My one complaint would be how kids dress...and I'm talking elementary kids. Someone needs to smack their parents.

Social media is a negative, which is why parents need to monitor it. I work in the kitchen at a school, so I don't interact with kids a ton, but when I do, I always make sure my hands are behind my back and/or visible. I've never done more than a high-five. You have to be hyper aware around kids.

Any time there is a power structure and children involved, you are going to have issues. The difference is the numbers and the response. Did they just assign the teachers to different schools and have the district cover it up? I bet not. I think a lot of priests are looking to abuse kids.
