Fortunately, the #slurp project seems to do an OK job in backing up most of my #Mastodon data.
I'm not sure how well it does on restoring to new instances; but, it seems to use the same format for the most part.
To back up bookmarks:
./slurp bookmarks export --file […]

I guess it's a bit more descriptive(a physically demonstrative emotional outburst) & less abstract that "glizzy"(hot dog) or "glazing"(like a donut, yeah, that's it) *shrug*
