I've never really interacted with the Deltarune fandom but they've been popping up on my feed a lot lately, and is posting barely marked spoilers normal for this community? Just going like "Spoilers: " and then the spoiler. Or "Spoilers: - - - - - - -" And then an image with a spoiler.

Mario has the wildest crew. Show up to his events and you're gonna meet some normal guys, some weird guys, a bunch of animals, the royalty of warring kingdoms, some time-traveling babies everyone's concerningly unbothered by, and the literal goddess who created the universe.

Mario Kart World needs something like Luigi's balloons in Odyssey, where you can set up challenges for other players to find. But instead of just finding a balloon, they're the kinds of challenges you find on the P switches.

If DC were serious about making games they'd do a Green Lantern Bethesda style RPG where you create your own lantern and patrol an alien planet. Have a morality system that ranges from Cop to Superhero and affects how you're treated by NPCs.

I wonder if people are actually using game chat. Nintendo clearly considered it one of their big Switch 2 selling points, even made it the focal point of their Paul Rudd ad. Online it's been widely dismissed as just Discord, but I think we forget that most people don't use Discord.

After watching a bunch of Marvel Rivals and Tokon character prediction videos, I've noticed shooter players and the fgc are infinitely less fun at this than Smash fans. Every list is like 99% the same super popular characters. Nobody going to bat for wacky favorites who have little realistic hope.

Some youtubers really need to learn the concept of stating your thesis at the start of the video. Don't ramble for 5 minutes about tangentially related topics before getting to the point. Tell me what you're gonna talk about, then talk about it.

Nintendo randomly announcing a new Splatoon game on the Tuesday after Video Game Announcements weekend... I do not understand this company. Best I can figure, there was supposed to be a Direct today, they pushed it back, but still had to drop the Splatoon bit because the S3 update comes in 2 days.

It's weird that the new charge jump in Mario Kart World is slower than just driving straight. I thought it was gonna be a way to make the straightaways a bit more interesting. Sacrifice maneuverability & temporary speed for a boost. But I guess it's really only worth it for the jump in certain cases

I've realized my reaction to like 90% of games I play these days ranges from "it's okay I guess" at best to the far more common "this absolutely sucks balls" I think I just don't like video games anymore

Awful game idea: a foddian platformer where the gimmick is that the framerate gets worse as you get higher. By the end it's like 1 frame every 5 seconds, so you're really just playing by feel.
