I can’t understate how happy I am I waited to play Pokémon ScarVi. This has easily been my favorite Pokémon experience in an incredibly long time. Presentation and exploration has been nothing but joyous. Doesn’t ignore the inexcusable condition at launch but boy am I glad I never experienced it.

As much as I want to believe this is resistance to Game Key Cards, it’s also likely folks just aren’t rushing to buy ports and remasters first thing on a brand new system. Curious to see how third party sales look over the next few months as more same day releases happen.

Some late Xbox showcase thoughts: Clockwork Revolution looks 100% my jam, plus Outer Worlds 2 is getting a ton of updates I'm really digging. Persona 4 Revival was expected but welcome, and At Fate's End was probably the coolest completely new thing for me. Curious to learn more about the Ally.
