6500K parking lot LEDs for a store that closes at 8 pm do not need to be on from dusk to dawn next to conservation lands and residential neighborhoods or anywhere really. 🔆

I hope you still have the "Big Crouton" on the menu.

When we built I put a full spool of cable in the walls and had drops on every wall of every room. All labeled. Several days after doing all that work I came to visit the construction site. I see labeled ends of ethernet cable laying around the site. The sheetrock team had cut most of the ends off. 😡

Saw that last night. I quickly said "put it in my veins" after they started absolutly rocking. The rawness of it made it so much more. 🤘

Corp emails go through several layers of security before reaching your inbox. You get legitimate email that have been quarantined by this. But these of course are let right through. They might as well bring a new badged "employee" introduce you and ask you to show them around and the claim "Gotcha!"

Where is that boy? His food is getting all cold, and eaten.

Me open a drawer. ~'Oh look, the kids left this big plastic spider in here.' Also me. ~'Oh S%!T!!!'

I make way less mistakes with the free version as you only get 5 per day and you are done. I find that I pay way more attention that way.

It's great when you come back later and they say ~'Hey Kevin! How's it going?' Then you try to do something and you are faced with login, Captcha and MFA.

The next stage is when they ask you when you are moving out.

I was once in the chair for a consult on getting my wisdom teeth pulled. The cello version of the NIN song Hurt was playing. It was overcast and there was actually a buzzard sitting in a nearby dead pine tree. I thought whomever slipped that in the Dr. Office playlist knew what they were doing.

Write report on Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness. Watches Apocalypse Now and bases book report on movie. I did go back and read the book as an adult.

"extra" is not going to cut it for a grumpy adjective. No coffee, the flight should be a full refund and upgrade to 1st class next flight🙃

Same. Mine still works as well. I removed the speaker wire soon after I bought it so that I could play after bedtime, without getting caught. Mayby my first hardware hack.

I love that the backside of a "relaxing" vacation requires copious rest.

From Frank Zappa's song The Adventures of Greggery Peccary: "Folks, as you can see for yourself, the way this clock over here is behaving, TIME IS OF AFFLICTION!"

parallel: I live in a small surf town with a small Lib art college. Every September we get a new crop of young hot-shot surfers from the Northeast.

I got my Atari 800 as a hand me down (lucky me) in 1983 when my Uncle got a 1200XL.

I have been saying since at least the mid-90s that Computer's are not consumer ready. The other great thing is I would follow that with some statement about how easy it is to use a toaster. Now of course we have shoved a computer in that as well and it is also now part of the problem.

I followed you after drilling down to see comments on something I found interesting and you had a witty reply. Clicked on your profile, skimed a few posts and followed. Only later learned you where an author.

I have been a fan since the early 90s. I don't think I have ever had the chance to see her live.
