We made the same mistake! Thought a great idea to engage the kids after finishing andor. Youngest turned to me when Jar Jar Binks came on and said, "Dad, seriously what the F*CK is that?" We don't usually let him swear, but on this occasion..... 🤣

It's okay, Netanyahu will say something negative about Trump in 2 weeks and then Trump will disown him and call him fake and ungrateful. It's not exactly a pattern we haven't seen.....

You'll remember this from city commentary then.... youtu.be/8dRFRnndYoA?...

It was the 80s we always won!

...and we'd record on cassette the end of the radio city match day commentary with that van der valk type theme over the goal clips, your getting me misty eyed. 🤣

Unpopular opinion, but I think it looks better with the stake sponsorship.

Before social media, so the fume was confined to the front sitting rooms. I love the moaning it means the season is not too far off!

I'm 50. I always buy one on the cheap at the end of the season and wear it at home for PJs. I get them for the kids to wear but I'm too old. I'll stick to @evertonthegear.co.uk for match days.

I preferred Umbro and loved Hummel. I was hopping Castor would use Umbro for us as they have the license. 🫤

I'm planning a protest outside Bramley Moore at the Roma game. I've got a giant pair of baseball gloves I'm going to wear whilst I throw hotdogs at the offending wearers from the barbecue I'll fire up in the back of my humvee. 👌

Yeah I know, but I'm choosing to selectively remember.

Can't you just let me rant! It's the off season I need to get it out somehow....

Nah you're reading it all wrong, those chickpeas have stewed for 4 hours and are still standing firm like a Michael Keane 87th minute cameo in a 5 man defence. ✊

We could have had a baseball themed castor sarong. Missing out commercially again!

Ha! I might, but he's a big lad these days, not sure he'd thank me for a T shirt, no matter the kudos! 😉

Hopefully we won't. He has to balance what he says but I think we all know he wants nothing to do with it. Would be a terrible move for us to follow the US on this.
comment in response to post
The US was in talks with Iran and Israel independental bombed them scuppering the talks, they then convinced them to bomb Iran themselves by fanning a deeper war. The US is nothing but Israel's lap dog.
comment in response to post
Fine. Don't want to be an international parirra, accused of being an apartheid state, of conducting war crimes? Don't do this and then come whining. States don't magically earn their reputations, it comes from thier actions ...
comment in response to post
I think you have to accept the issues are complex and instead of just dismissing these and shouting anti-semitism! If Israel and the whole region is going to have a future it starts with a conversation of other points of view and an end of killing.
comment in response to post
Nope, I'm pretty sure Israel has been fighting since 1948 I'd say Israel is not allowed to level a whole country, starve them, destroy their hospitals. Kill the civilian population. This actually *should* apply to everyone, but I agree it's horribly inconsistent. It STILL does not excuse it.
comment in response to post
You make a good point! It's like if you radicalise people around religion, tribalism, nationalism it leads to bad things. In fact I can't think of one country that defines itself by a religion or strong nationalism above others when things work out well. Especially when they attack others...

You conflat Hamas fighters and the Palestinian people, because it's useful for you. The same happened during the troubles in Ireland. IRA terrorists were the same as Irish Catholics. But they aren't are they?....And you can't kill Woman and Children simply for what they believe.
comment in response to post
Ha! Sorry mate it's not black and white. I can shout about Israel war crimes without supporting terrorism. In fact it sort of goes with the territory.
comment in response to post
Nope, deluded, broken, hopeless, indoctrinated. Question is, why does Hamas exist? How could people end up so extreme? What's happened over decades to lead to this? How can the cycle be stopped? I'll tell you for free, not by levelling Gaza...
comment in response to post
Excellent, common ground! 😉
comment in response to post
Because they are stupid, hopeless and hateful. There is no excuse whatsoever. However it didn't happen in isolation, and it does not justify what Israel has done in Gaza to innocents. FULL STOP.
comment in response to post
So after 4 exchanges and maps of little countries, you agree, Israel are armed to the teeth. Thank you.
comment in response to post
Arh YouTube wars, as I said it's complex What happened and far from one sided. Today, now, there are NO EXCUSES for war crimes. www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...
comment in response to post
I'm confused? You're saying Arabs controlled areas after a war but lost control of those area after another war? So basically Israel's borders are largely borne of war and conquest and not those set by or recognised by the UN? Yes I agree.
comment in response to post
What's your point? You said Israel is so tiny is can't possibly be a powerful state. What's that got to do with a sea?
comment in response to post
I wonder why? 🤔 I wonder what had been going on since the end of the ottoman empire? 🤔 I wonder what happened after the end of the second world war? 🤔 As I said it's complex, and far from settled today..except of course if you are an ultra nationalist..war crime apologist..then it's simple. 🤷‍♀️
comment in response to post
Tiny Britain once had the largest empire the world ever saw. Geography has little to do with it when you have nuclear missiles and the latest fighter jets....
comment in response to post
Ha! if it was that simple! Israel / Palestine is a much more complex issue than even Northern Island or Kashmir. The solution is complex, based in reconcilation and probably decades away. War crimes and illegal aggression just add decades to any possible solution.
