There’s selection bias at play here: “independent voters” tend to be low-information (otherwise they would have made up their minds already), and of course “who voted for Trump” means they either have poor critical thinking skills or are immoral

Will be senior citizens who are impacted the worst. And of course they’ve almost certainly fired the people at CDC who aggregate statistics on cold- and heat-related deaths (which requires some untangling)

I agree. She has an almost magical ability to learn from the likes of Pelosi and Jeffries while keeping her true north. I think she’d be great as a senator, but temperamentally she’s well-suited to the people’s chamber.
