Props to the Associated Press for the whimsical lede. When I was at the AP, a lede like that would have drawn the ire of my News Editor.

Overcompensating for their small penises.

It’s hard to replace the leader of a death cult, hence the death part…

Musk can have his U.S. citizenship revoked and face criminal charges if he lied during the immigration process. Lying about working in the U.S. without authorization would be grounds for denaturalization.

Who finishes first in the GOP nomination race to the bottom in ‘28, DJT Junior or Vance?
comment in response to post
I mean, that really got out of hand fast.

Exactly. Hopefully, history won’t repeat itself. Gavin Newsome has been acting like he’s a potential presidential nominee. And Newsome ranks higher on the unlikability scale (with independents) than Hillary.

What if Vance is an evil genius who orchestrated this falling out so that he emerges as the clear cut MAGA candidate in ‘28? Ha-ha, I sometimes say dumb crap like this just to amuse myself (I realize that Vance is merely an Ivy League hillbilly).

I admit that I’m riding a wave of schadenfreude and hanging ten every time one of these reprobates bumps it up a notch.

Musk is now saying that America needs a new political party, tacitly suggesting that MAGA has co-opted the GOP.

The Apple iPhone and Samsung are the two major sources for cell phones in the U.S. With Trump’s diatribes against Apple, is he asking Americans to buy a South Korean phone? 🤔

Combined with the most ineffectual Congress in history. 😬

Earl Warren was a Republican governor of California. GOP plan: eliminate him as a future rival presidential candidate by making him SCOTUS Chief Justice, where he’d be a conservative voice. However, with lifetime appointment, Warren led to “Constitutional Revolution” in liberal jurisprudence.

For all its faults, CNN had managed to mostly retain its credibility during the devolution of faith in corporate news media. However, CNN’s recent subscription plan with this Trapper book sh!t show has cost CNN too much. @CNN reeks of Fox News and the Trump marketing team hawking MAGA crap.

Ultimately, I agree with you on all your points. But this past election demonstrates how low the electorate’s expectations have sunk. The smarter candidate, more experienced candidates don’t always win. Hilary was probably the most experienced presidential candidate ever.

I was merely pointing Pete’s elective experience. It’s really hard not to admire him. I think the next Democratic candidate for president must do two things: 1. Appeal to independent voters; and 2. Get black voters to the polls (3. Minimal baggage). If Pete were the Dem candidate I’d back him 100%.

Growing up in the Midwest is a qualifier for the presidency? Look, I really like Pete. He’s smart, a great orator, and uniquely unflappable. Personally, I think he should run for governor or senator first. However, if it’s between Pete and Newsome, I’m Team Pete all the way.

“Industrial” city? South Bend’s largest employer is the University of Notre Dame. I like Pete, but the former mayor of the 320th largest city (perhaps town or village would be a more apt reference) is not going to win the presidency.

According to Trump insiders, his pudginess is giving serious thought to converting GameStop locations into processing centers for “enemies of the state.”

That’s the part that sticks out. If there really was an “assassination” plot/attempt, Trump would have monetized it like crazy. His minions don’t even mention it.

You missed the rapist refugee Andrew Tate. Trump and his people like him for his “masculine”views.

Why take the chance of ending up in an El Salvadoran prison?

Her former husband was accused of having mob ties (when they were married) and was sent to prison. I guess she’d fit right in with MAGA.

“They” already called? I guess the Pope’s people liaised with Trump’s people. 🙄 This from the guy who (using a fake name) was well-known for calling reporters with sensationalized stories about himself.

You mean no furries using litter boxes in our public schools? 🤔

Don’t confuse Trump and MAGA with facts (or big words).

This seemingly makes little sense because more emergency aid is requested by southern red state’s populated by MAGA. But the rubes always vote against their own interests.

In rambling interviews, Trump has blamed some of America’s economic woes on the Carter administration. NOTE: Carter served as president 44 years ago, from 1977 to 1981.

Stephen Miller, the Joseph Goebbels of Trump’s administration, reveals plans to indoctrinate America’s children. Insiders claim he has asked Trump to sign an executive order forcing children to wear “brown shirts” and to monitor and report their parents for speaking against Trump.

China was just waiting for Trump. It has survived economic droughts before and is willing to do so again. They can out wait Trump. Meanwhile, other countries want a stable trading partner - China isn’t threatening anyone with tariffs. Also, China refines 75% of the world’s lithium.

Trump would have pardoned Charles Manson if there was a possibility he’d profit from it.

When Santos was elected, GOP leaders were ecstatic: a Gay republican representative, “let’s see the media call us the party of prejudice and exclusion!” But he’s a congenital liar and thief. Republicans are nervous when Santos is mentioned. He’s a lot like their Orange Führer in the White House.

He’s a Republican.

Putin and his hand puppet Trump have done the imaginable: they’ve united Europe in common cause. If Putin prevails in Ukraine, Poland is next. This despot must be stopped by any means. Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

The shame I feel as an American is indescribable. Make no mistake, the U.S. has had its share of international blunders (some would say too many), but for the most part, the U.S. means well. Trump’s “peace plan” makes America complicit in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

If Hitler had Trump in his corner we’d be living in an entirely different world.

It is not anti-Semitic: >to show heartfelt sympathy for the Palestinian people; >to hold Israel responsible for ethnic cleansing and war crimes; >to loudly speak out for Palestinians who are unable to be heard. The black-bagging and rendition must end.
comment in response to post
The Trump administration’s black-bagging and rendition of those who offer a dissenting opinion epitomizes MAGA fascism.

So Canada has its own set of crazies. This should, in a way, be somewhat comforting, that we Americans are not alone. But I find it disconcerting. I always thought of Canada as a potential refuge should the U.S. go full on fascism.

Conservative “thinker”Lauren Boebert has said on the record that Washington, District of Columbia, should be changed to Washington, District of America. Apparently, Boebert believes the nation’s capital is named for the South American country.
