"dems want civil war" every accusation is an admission in full evidence in that title.
AI is a tool for fascism. It steals from people only to empower a few.

Thank you so very much to everyone who donated to Milo’s care in the last month of his life. It made it a little easier for his parents to keep him comfortable and have a little more time with him. 💚

It might be worth pulling a not fully wilted one out and putting it in another container with different soil and see if it recovers.
I wish you luck!

Yeah, just based on your descriptions and photos there is something up with the soil. Based on the apparent quick wilt, I'm guessing there was something in the soil that was released with either heat or water. As I said before, tomatoes are incredibly sensitive to chemicals, even if it is just trace

Sorry for all the questions. In a past life a ran the veggie section of a large garden center and I’m used to diagnosing problems. Lol

Honestly, probably not leaf footed bug damage. Leaf-footed bugs tend to do damage to the fruits more than the actual plants. They are sucking insects, not chewing, so they will usually only do small damage to larger plants. Worse for smaller starts.
Same variety/grower of tomatoes showing damage?

Fully raised beds? Not open to the ground at all?

If it happens again, you’ll know it is something in the soil in that spot, bug, chemical or otherwise.
Good luck!

But in my time I have also seen wilted plants as a reaction to some chemical.
Looks like you’ve already done it but best to just cut losses and plant new. Better boy tomatoes are pretty fast producing so you should still get a crop this year.

Check along the stems for insect damage or possible accidental damage from a tool or critter.
The only other thing I can see damaging a tomato that quickly would be an herbicide as tomatoes are VERY susceptible to herbicides. Usually this comes in the form of gnarled and twisted leaves and branches

Just gonna pop in here and say that one of the key hallmarks of wilts and blights is yellowing of the lower leaves that progressively moves up the plant and slowly kills it.
Your tomato looks as if something very quickly has kept water from getting to the top of the plant.

Oh yeah 100%. If they are USING gen ai to make their videos I’m out. But if they are covering it for the rage bait I give them a couple more chances, but less and less day by day.

With every passing day I am getting more and more unkind. What really sucks is when it is a long time creator that suddenly changes or gets traction with ai as a subject then keeps uploading videos about it.

Gen AI sucks. Period.

Obviously if the video is an explainer and imagery or audio is used to explain why generative ai and everything surrounding it is detrimental then I make exceptions.
But holy shit, I don’t want to see channels dunking on AI with no other intent than rage bait.
