I think if AI looks like this in 10 years, it deserves all the grief people are giving it

The entire Akira series would be good as a full length show. The movie subverts the story that viewers expected if they read the manga, and it ends up being completely different. They could go back to that original at least.

Also if someone wants to do Akira again, they should do the fuckin manga, not the film that already exists which is a subversion of the manga.

I think you could do it and be more subtle. Like it's fine the concept that they are objects, but I find it weird that they know what objects they are. I get that thematically is something about the end of childhood or the meaning of objects or something along those lines.

Probably not considering the Anthropic case went the same way just the day prior. Both cases were harmed by piracy claims, but in the end both judges ruled it was fair use. Chhabria didn't even seem like he wanted to.

It is very funny that they were the only lawyers to say yes when she wanted to sue them. I wonder why.

I don't know if they would have actually won if they listened to Chhabria, but I think this is hilarious. I think it'll go very similarly with the other cases these lawyers have going.

If you read the judgment it's the judge repeating over and over how he think the ruling doesn't feel right but the defendants made all the wrong arguments

The one weird thing to me is that many of the cameos aren't played by themselves. Like he got Guillermo Del Toro and George Miller to scan their faces, but they don't play themselves... I bet he must have been sad about that.

Death Stranding is like Kojima finally wiggling his way into hanging out with his movie idols, so he starts to treat games like movies, so he puts the actors' names at the beginning and it's full of cameos.

I thought the first chapter had some Alice In Wonderland thing going on with the card and chess pieces, which I guess was one of the initial references.

Why do they keep using copyright for things copyright isn't meant to do? Just make this kind of purposeful misrepresentation prosecutable. It's very easy.

Actually pretty good. Songs are okay. K-Pop sounds all similar to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

At first I thought it was silly. Then it got kind of okay near the middle. They were going for an Arcane thing... But it's like if Arcane had one episode.
