There is no rhyme or reason for the order so my advice would be to shuffle this. My only hope is it makes you feel something too. Enjoy - "Music To Live To" Apple Music- music.apple.com/us/playlist/mu… Spotify- open.spotify.com/playlist/4d3Jb Happy Father’s Day, Dad.

While on that journey I made a playlist that I'd like to share with you all. My Father's Day gift to you. Some of these songs reminded me of a specific moment in time and some just made me feel happy, sad, or encouraged, as I was walking.

I accomplished the 100 miles goal in the following 14 days and in the process relearned so much about myself that I'd long since forgotten.

My intention was to put myself through something intentionally hard. To feel everything that comes a long with it tap into that thing that allows us to push though all of it, to focus on gratitude, and being thankful for each feeling... just for the chance to feel it.

Needless to say this loss hit me really hard - I took some time off work and I challenged myself. I would walk at least 5 miles each day until I hit at least 100 miles. I told myself I would use each of these 100 miles to contemplate life and pull myself out the funk.

A skill my father taught me long ago by example, that I had taken for granted for so long that I'd lost it.

I’d seen him do it time and time again, to the point where I’d taken it for granted, and I remembered a time when I knew how to do that to. I used to know how to push past doubt, physical discomfort, and the voices inside my head that told me I couldn't do it.

I recognized (remembered?) my Dad had an insane battery. Something inside him that he could tap into that allowed him to keep pushing regardless of the pain or whatever else might have held him back.

In the last few days/hrs of his life, It became clear just how hard every moment of it must of been for him. And not just his final days but for years leading up to that, fighting Cancer every day, fighting for any extra time that the universe might allow, despite the discomfort.

Def one of my favorite Kings from that era. Feel like he turned into a lights out 3pt shooter after he left the Kings.

The moment I saw it, I knew I had to get it. This is the team that totally hooked me on basketball. Just a team full of players I’d basically fight to the death for and let me tell you… if THIS is the squad that gets you hooked, YOU’RE HOOKED Thanks a lot, Skip.
