Thank you! I actually wish I had more of that gray with the neon speckle. The Hanami stole is a truly gorgeous design and a pleasure to knit.

Hang in there! It gets so much easier with practice!

Perhaps Canada could annex NY state? I'd be good with that!

yeah, it's a big learning curve, and a whole lot of work to add a lot of stuff that you already have. I started out using Ravelry at the beginning of my knitting journey, so it was easy to keep up.

sure! I'm KinDenise on Ravelry too.

I really love my project pages, where I keep all sorts of notes about modifications and adjustments I've made, problems I've encountered, size and gauge, and ideas and yarn pairings for future projects. I have about 15 years' worth of knitting notes stored there. I find it incredibly useful.

I've made so many of her patterns, including nearly all the shawls! I made a lot of lasting friends in her Ravelry group, too, although I don't spend as much time on Ravelry as I used to. The cleverness of her patterns and their quirky details never fail to delight.

Mine is sorted by dyer. If I have a lot of yarn from a specific dyer (I do), I sort it by weight and then, if necessary, by color. I have all of it entered on my Ravelry stash pages, which makes stash diving SO MUCH easier, and I meticulously track yarn usage on my project pages.

I love to make multiples! For me, familiarity breeds creativity. I made, I think, 48 pussyhats. I treated them as swatches for motifs and techniques and they just got more and more elaborate. My Barbara Walker books got a workout! But I've made multiples of many other patterns, too.

The Pledge is creepy, but it works so well in this context. What a beautiful protest.

oh that makes me happy! I really like her work too. I'm sure I'll be making more of hers.

yes, I posted this, unblocked and buttonless, last week for CHONKY too. It's an awesome cardigan!
