When they wrote his gigantic tax cuts in 2017, they made the personal tax cuts temporary & the ones for big corporations permanent. Bc they knew they’d use it to scare people in 2025, to make the huge cuts for the rich people permanent.

I get that it seems like that, but they are publishing it under their banner. If I’m the owner, publisher, or editor, I want eyeballs looking at it that answer to me, before it hits stands.

These days, I would expect editors at the Sun-Times to be well aware that AI can be and is easily used to produce material, and to want to be proactive in having a editor eyeball everything that is run in their paper — even if it comes from King or another “trusted” business. No one can sssume now.

I’m glad to see them owning it. I’m still not sure why they wouldn’t have an editor review it before it went to print. And it’s hard to applaud them too much when this crap is running at the bottom.

I don’t believe it was staged, & I don’t know anyone who does. But it was obvious that he was probably hit by debris, not by a bullet. The Secret Service was idiotic for letting him stand there afterward, but they (& he) clearly knew the shooter was down, & they all hyped his injury afterward.
