Lol. It's not a problem, but I'll remind you again when it becomes relevant.

Not a spoiler, but just keep the events of Yorknew in the back of your mind for later.

Big same. Especially with the peek behind the curtains, so to speak, regarding how much of a "jack of all trades" you have to be to establish yourself as a Rakugoka. Gives you a deeper appreciation/respect for the craft and its practitioners.

My quibbles with it aside, I do appreciate it giving us mini history lessons/insight/appreciation for Rakugo as an art form.

Really does like he's plotting your downfall 😂

I mean, the name is kinda self-explanatory 😂 It's the most popular arc for a good reason.

Seconding. Chimera Ants tends to be #1 (for good reason) but Greed Island is just a lot of fun.

I deserve the judgment 😅😓

The Spiders are my favorite ensemble group of villains bar none (though my mileage on how much I like them individually varies).

I must sadly root against him for reasons that will become clear soon(ish).

Too bad he lives to suffer.

This is when the series started losing me cause while it might be unfair I can't help but compare it to HQ which does a lot of the same beats so much better.

It's funny cause little bro and I were on opposite sides of that debate re whether No.9/Meireki Kaiju WAS the final boss and how I couldn't see the series maintaining the quality after this fight. And I see people hoping for a continuation or sequel, but yeah, I'd rather Matsumoto rest.

This reminds me of the news of Kaiju ending and all the discourse surrounding it. I'm almost certain it's because of health issues behind the scenes, but man people are not being kind about it either way.

I mostly just skim the series occasionally now, but yeah, I dont begrudge Oda his breaks and wish it became the norm for SJ in general.

Im due for a re-read, but I can't disagree that the recent stuff has been compelling.

Yup. Me with Haikyuu which was phenomenal start to end. I just wish more authors got the same opportunity.

Not to spoil anything, but you dont know how right you are 😂😂😂

Ghoulish response is that they're worth more alive instead of heading into an early grave 😓🫠 But man, yeah, I hate that the capitalism machine just keeps grinding and churning.

Really would make a world of difference if they could take a month off or so between arcs just to rest and plan out the next arc/story.

His fight with Kisame is one of my favorites in the series
