None of them broke in, they were let in as per our asylum laws. The fact you idiots can't make that distinction is the problem. And he demands the same respect any real leader would demand for his people. None of you would accept similar treatment of any of your people either.

Person of the year has nothing to do with good or bad, just influential. They've said this before as they've had multiple dictators as person of the year, including this mook. Unfortunately for all of us he has been the most talked about and influential person of the year, for all the wrong reasons.

In academia and STEM sure. Problem is, your average person (me included) has little to no knowledge on most of these issues to actually give an informed debate and should keep their misguided attempts at intellectualism to themselves and close friends.

This topic isn't as black and white as you're making it. Violence is a component of revolution, yes, but so is speaking out against institutional violence. Standing firm and speaking out has always been the first step to stopping fascism.
