Do not trust youtube professors unless you research their backgrounds first.
While there are good youtube videos and free resources, there's also plenty of "criminologists" that are nothing but punitive justice shills.
Criminology is a behavioral social science that is not supposed to judge.

Glad I took the class even though it was extra and cut into my work hours thus income... I will be using what I learnt years to come
It wasn't too hard considering I was familiar with a lot of concepts making things easy to grasp, but academic research & writing is the part that is NOT easy for me.
