Yes, but it was never permanent and is already fixed. It was really all a misunderstanding that snowballed completely out of control.

The public test build did exist, but the belly reduction was unintentional and a by-product of Kiseff updating the character models and customization backend (which are old as hell and in need of updating according to them.) The latest Patreon test build as of last night has big bellies again.

It would probably help. But, personally, I'm annoyed that they would even have to put out a statement for something that was a complete nothing burger that a lot of people blew way out of proportion at 2 AM on a Sunday. The way everyone just turned on them instead of checking anything was nuts.
