I have a yearning to reread the Haikyu!! manga soon. May, may not. As someone who had played volleyball in middle school, that fact made it stand out to me more on first read. Still makes me want to pick up the sport again, and I'm not sporty.

I'm still playing AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES Nirvana Initiative. I got my first ending the other night (👨‍👦🟦🏅🎧) and now I'm working on my next. This ride's not over till they've all been unlocked, which I'd learned playing the original game last year.

There's something about "tiny body + big floppy ears" creature design that hits just right. Terriermon (Digimon) and Nopon (Xenoblade) are a couple faves like that. Also great is "tiny girl + big hammer." (See: Tinkaton [Pokémon] and Sena [Xenoblade].)

Next game: AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES Nirvana Initiative. I've launched it. Had to look up reminders to unlock spoilers for the first game, which I'd played a little over a year ago. My main thing now is, other than dialogue, text size is straight-up for ants. Bless Switch (2)'s built-in zoom function.

My dentist today commented on my weight loss, said I look good. Even when progress has slowed and I'm in my head about it, for me it feels validating what's already been accomplished is noticeable—and by someone who hasn't seen me in six months.

I saw something dangling from a truck this morning that was hauling a spool of wire. It had a familiar shape. I caught up to the truck, now on my left, and peering over I saw Toy Story's Buzz Lightyear holding onto Woody by the hand. It was cute.

I've filled in one of my few blinds spots tonight in the Studio Ghibli catalog—"The Tale of the Princess Kaguya" (2013). I'm familiar with the original folktale by way of pop culture (e.g., Ōkami, Sailor Moon, Pokémon). This is a captivating retelling whose artwork is as much the star.

At our library, you need to have checked out media within a year of your last checkout to prevent the expiration of your library card. I'd taken a break because I'd realized I wasn't making dents in my personal collections whatsoever. But I went back last Friday, one year to the day.

The other night I finally managed to earn three stars on each Grand Prix cup and K.O. Tour rally in Mario Kart World! It could be brutal. With that task now out of the way, I feel more relaxed playing the game. I've also unlocked Mirror Mode, but I might save it for another time, for longevity.

While I've managed to three-star all cups in Grand Prix, Knockout Tour gets me so tilted, ha. I've three-starred one cup, and on others I've gotten very close. That's if I don't quit and restart after losing the first stretch. If you're not first in Knockout Tour, you're last.

I paid hundred of dollars for Nintendo Switch 2 only to get sucked back into yet another full replay of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. This is among my top comfort games for certain; between the GCN and Wii U versions, I've lost count of how many files I've made.

The other day I was like “I don’t have FFX fanarts..” WRONG I did draw these divas!

A couple things I wish were the case in Mario Kart World: - I wish you didn't lose your items when Lakitu rescues you. (Unless it's meant to get you to use rewind?) - I wish single-player GP mode had a "Retry Grand Prix" option. I'm going for 3 stars now; this would be helpful if I flub race one.

I can't wait till someone uploads thr OST to Mario Kart World, or else it shows up on the Nintendo Music app sooner than later. These remixes are so, so good. Have already rolled credits on the game, ha. I'm excited—Switch 2 is here.

I already have a living Pokédex in Pokémon Ultra Moon, but I've been doing it again for fun in LeafGreen (currently 260/386). I just beat the Trainer Tower to get another King's Rock, only to discover I'd forgotten a Pokémon I USED in the Tower was already holding my second King's Rock. Tee hee.

LRP: I've had this piece framed on my wall since last summer, and I love looking at it every chance I get. Samus rules.

Samus movie poster I made a bit back. One of my fave recent pieces.

QRP with your most popular piece on bsky! It's the green birb✨️

I could not have been more pleasantly surprised by Clair Obscur: #Expedition33. It's been in my thoughts even when I'm not playing. Easily a contender for my GOTY. From one RPG fan to another: Thanks for this experience, @expedition33.bsky.social, and congratulations on your success!

🌜🎊Dawn of a New Day🎭🌞 Happy 25th anniversary to Majora’s Mask!! #zelda #legendofzelda #majorasmask

Deserved! I've been enjoying the hell out of this game so far—a must-try for fans of turn-based RPGs.

I'm having much fun with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 so far, as of the first time you can make camp. I love seeing this game wear its inspiration on its sleeve. I can tell I'll be hooked to its OST when I'm through with it. Is it just me? I can't unsee Robert Pattinson when I look at Gustave.

On my way home today, I stopped by Braum's to try one of their new Mexican-inspired ice cream flavors. I wasn't sure how closely the tarta de fresa y crema and fresas con crema flavors would taste to your standard strawberry, so I went with something new to me—chongos zamoranos! I like it.

Woo! My Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order is secured. I even managed to get a walk and shower in before headin' out. I got there two hours before GameStop opened, and there was already a line. I called my friends ASAP to let them know to get there and let the person behind me cut in line so we could chat.

My "Plan A" for pre-ordering Nintendo Switch 2 is headin' to my retailer tomorrow morning rather than try online. After calling ahead and learning how many units they'll be receiving, I'll definitely want to arrive earlier than I would've prior. The second a line starts forming, I am OUT the car.

It's been a day. Originally I had set an alarm so that I could catch a matinee, but I guess that had been enough to make me restless; I wouldn't get but only a few hours' rest till it was already after 09:00. Just happens I woke up with enough time to shower and head out. Put off my walk till later.
