In style, this film is unique amongst their works. Though like others, it maintains themes regarding nature, pastoral living, authenticity and façades, and of course the range of human experience. I'd like to share its main track, "When I Remember This Life" by Kazumi Nikaido: youtu.be/54Li_V5CUXo

I love our public library and think more people should take advantage of theirs. While I'm still intent on whittling my various "backlogs," I perused a couple authors and video game collections for future reference. Walked away with "The Tale of the Princess Kaguya" on Blu-ray.

I would try out the online modes finally. I'd been a little anxious everyone would've already mastered movement. Alas, it's less impossible than I'd thought, but still it's chaotic. One error and the pack is ready to overtake you. I went from 1st to DNF in one K.O. Tour for that reason.

On Mario Kart World in general, it feels like items are set to frantic always. I've no evidence, but CPUs feel they're adaptive based on frequency of drifting and performing tricks. They rubber band like crazy anyway, but it's more apparent when I'm in sweat mode.

Also, yesterday I happened upon a full odds (1 in 8,192) shiny Doduo. 🙂 A shame it's Modest. I'll wait to transfer it up in case I get lucky and find more.

Howdy! I need you to know, Josh, I'd purchased this print last summer to frame on my wall, and every day since it's arrived I've LOVED looking at it. Seriously, it's SO sick. Thanks. Keep at it!

I consider myself mostly a "completionist," but only really in-game. I've never particularly cared for system achievements, but for Clair Obscur, I just had to chase them—my first ever to complete on Steam. I'm eager to see what the future holds for this studio.

I'm eager to see more environments, 'cause although areas themselves mostly railroad you to your destination, they can be pretty in a similar way I think Xenoblade is pretty. Have already thought of Satorl Marsh. Have also thought of XC3 with weapon summoning and motes.

Perhaps Pattinson, plus a smidgen Jake Gyllenhaal. The characters Sophie and Emma are giving Sabrina Carpenter, at least in the face. I'd like to add I love [first add'l party member] and choose to explore with them. If there end up any more than four party members, they're staying.

I got just the one scoop in case I didn't, but I could've eaten two. While sat inside, I saw a massive funeral procession pass. That person must've been on the force or something because there were many more cops than usual and firetrucks. Lots of lights, no sirens. Saw the hearse.

I'm so relieved not to have to worry about this stuff again till pickup in June. The first person in line today—she'd been waiting there since goddamn 04:30. Nah, man. Couldn't be me. At least it was only cloudy; the forecast originally showed rain.

I figure after I transfer my game library, the on board storage of Nintendo Switch 2 might fill up more quickly than I think, and I have to consider games still to come. Any future game that comes on a game-key card I might as well get digitally if it's gonna take up all that space anyway.

I ended up getting a little bit more than I went in for. Altogether: Nintendo Switch 2 standard unit, physical Mario Kart World, physical No Sleep for Kaname Date, pro controller, carrying case, game card case, and 512 GB express microSD card.

There were a few cars that stopped and asked what the hubbub was, but the real "event" while we were in line was a woman running out of an adjacent business with an extinguisher because a car in the lot caught on fire. I didn't see the fire, just the smoke. A firetruck came and all. No injuries!

Good luck to everyone else who's vying for theirs! Less than an hour from now for y'all online girlies. I'm going to call on melatonin to help me along tonight and at least *try* to curb any restlessness.

Despite how the day started, I guess it worked itself out. And later, I'd use up a gift card on Steam to pre-purchase Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on impulse. Ope. God, I hope there will not be as much struggle this Thursday trying to pre-order Nintendo Switch 2 in-person. And I mean being awake.

When I got home, I guess I'd timed it just right to get to help bring groceries in. This was near or after 19:00. I hadn't eaten yet, but I still had to get in my daily walk; leftovers had to wait 'cause I just cannot get movin' on a full tummy.

"Sinners" has mid- and post-credits scenes, btw! It was only two people and myself in our auditorium. I felt bad for one girl—I couldn't tell whether she was gonna stop or not along my row and she ended up bumping into my leg rest on her way to her seat. I apologized, obviously.

I went to see "Sinners," about which I knew NOTHING but the high praise of my friends. Our screening meant to kick off at 16:00, but a series of technical issues delayed it by 25 to 30 minutes. I'm glad it got goin' because "Sinners" certainly met expectations! It comes recommended for the genre.
