That's for the UK, not the Commonwealth. They are two separate things altogether and have been for decades. The UK is just one of the member states just like Canada; it does not control the governance of the Commonwealth or any of the other member countries. They are all independent voting members.

What are you basing that on? Nothing he has said or done since indicates otherwise. He is expanding trade options & moving to be less dependent on the US for trade & defense. He never said we would stop doing all business with the US. He said the old relationship is over & it appears to be the case.

Canada doesn't hate you. We simply don't want to be like you. Canadians are just sick & tired of Americans thinking Canadians are like Americans & want our country to be like the US. Its the ingrained cultural arrogance we despise, not individual Americans. Frankly we feel bad for many of you.

Absolutely not! Canada does not want to merge with the US at all. Stop thinking the US model of governance, legislation, education, healthcare etc offers anything better than we have in Canada. It does not. Why would we trade down? Fix your own country's failed democracy. Leave Canada alone ffs
