What I love about these is the total mix of people that come to listen and discuss the talks. People of all sorts of backgrounds, ages and interests. All questions encouraged. Have spoken (on AI) at one of these & had such a good time that I knew I wanted to be in the audience myself for others

These are organised & run by Brian Trench & are free; and a reminder that libraries totally rock. You can find them listed on the Wexford Library events listings or get added to Brian's mailing list. Feel free to message me your email address & will pass to Brian

I stuck a Deadhead bumper sticker on our family's '73 red Chevy Impala (which we all called 'the red shark', even my mom). It had cream coloured upholstery, bench seats and an actual FM radio which was a totally new thing & introduced me to a n amazing world of music on indie stations. Also: 13mpg 😵💫

I am 'saw Gerry Garcia when his hair was still brown & no one had named an ice cream flavour after him' years old. Santa Barbara: www.dead.net/show/june-4-... Opening act Warren Zevon had just released Werewolves of London, was smashed & drinking Jack Daniels straight from a bottle on the piano.
