I am not a nice person. If you have thought I am... Let me disabuse you. My friend since 8th grade came home from a weekend at the beach with me to be told to get out, her marriage of 10 years was over. When she found a place, I helped her move. (I'm not writing out all the drama.)

I love that tubas are the instruments of ridicule and resistance. Even better, the song is "Bella Ciao," the song of the Italian resistance in the 1940s, which is now an international anthem of anti-facism. Perfection.
