Democrats expect too much of him (being engaged, actively representing his constituents, etc…), while the GOP just wants a body. He’s picking the side to which he can deliver what they want. Sad.

Trump has been turning hundreds of thousands of legal immigrants into "illegal" ones by stripping them of their lawful permission to be here. Not just Afghans, but also Venezuelans, Cubans, etc., and existing international students from around the world. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/202...

When I was about 10, I asked my mom “there’s Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, so when is Children’s Day?” My mom just looked at me and said “every day is Children’s Day”. I’ve never forgotten it and it amply applies to this seemingly never ending argument as well.

“Discomfort” seems to be the driving factor in a lot of people’s decisions these days. You don’t have to be “comfortable” with what other people do to be able to support the commitments they are ready to make. “Discomfort” is not remotely the same as being hurt or attacked for who you simply are.

You can’t expect people with no class to be any other way. What an embarrassment.
