How Republican! They promote violence for years by spreading misinformation and then mock victims after they succeed.

Two people died, Melissa Hortman and her husband. She always worked across the aisle and she will be missed.

If you can’t make it make sense there is no way we can.
Don’t you think it’s a little strange that they are intentionally harming everyone and every aspect of American life and culture? Why would they do that? 🧐🤨

Everything I’m seeing supports a repeat of what they did in MSP five years ago. They send in instigators to cause problems during peaceful protests, innocent people in the wrong place at the wrong time and shooting reporters with rubber bullets (Velshi got it MSP and an Australian got it in LA).

Manufactured and more likely committed by the right anyway- they have patterns and I have memories from five years ago and Jan 6.

I haven’t lost my memory of normal and I’m amazed by what triggers my memories of normal. I’m deeply concerned that there seems to be nothing and no clear plan to break the machine that got us here.

Seems to me that the narrative from the GOP since Reagan has been that Dems are elitist because Dems want an educated society and DEI. The GOP has attacked schools and made education the enemy and consistently voted to stop funding schools. So how exactly are Dems elitist?

They want the land and minerals! If the farmer is lucky, the farmer might get to stay and work it but won’t get to own it.

Those who do grasp this hierarchy understand that Western support for Ukraine need not necessarily be rooted in sympathy for the Ukrainian national project – it is, first and foremost, a matter of Western strategic self-interest. 9/9

Those in the West who believe peace can be secured by surrendering Ukraine to Russia fundamentally misunderstand the hierarchy in Putin’s thinking: the destruction of Ukraine is a tactical objective, not the strategic aim of his war. 8/9

Ukraine is therefore not the primary target of Russia’s geopolitical revisionism – the West is. The destruction of Ukraine is merely a means of striking at the West without confronting it directly. 7/9

Such a blow, in their logic, would inevitably weaken the West and improve the prospects for further Russian retaliatory efforts. 6/9

There have been various attempts to “intellectualise” Putin’s thinking by linking him to Ivan Ilyin, Alexander Dugin, and the like – but it is all utterly excessive: all of Putin’s statements about the West and the war ultimately boil down to those two simple ideas. 4/9

In my recent essay, I traced the origins of these ideas to Putin’s teenage years and his fascination with Soviet spy thrillers, showing how his KGB service and specific events later solidified that basic worldview: shekhovtsov.substack.com/p/putins-gen... 3/9

My prayers were answered. Pope Leo XIV is the best news. His name says it all - a history of social justice and for all people. He is spoken against the current administration. Fantastic day!

A win for humanity! She is scared 😁 as the Catholics choose another Pope for social justice. Pope Leo XIV an American with outreach.
