"It's really hard to fathom that the guy making my pizza for 25 years is a gangster and a terrorist, and the person who shows up in an unmarked car wearing a mask and body armor comes to take him away is somehow the good guy” www.wnep.com/article/news...

bitch no one elected you

By the way a military parade when we’re not celebrating a war victory is something a dude who never served would do.

This seems like a big win for both Ben Collins, and another stupid loss for AI in search engines. I miss Google results of a decade ago. A nice combination of large commercial sites and small niche sites that had the information we actually wanted.

The only thing sad about Simone Biles standing up for trans athletes is the fact that, with just two tweets, she’s shown more integrity and leadership on this issue than most House Democrats.

😏🥰👏🏻🤸🏽‍♀️ I could not love this more. I'm so sick of Tied for 5th Riley.

Love this and the replies. I end up going down so many information rabbit holes online, it's nice to find new rabbit holes and new experts. It's probably good the internet didn't exist when I was a kid. I never would've gotten any fresh air. A permanent vitamin D drip.

Okay, see you later guys, I'm listening to "Atmosphere" by Taylor Jenkins Reid and it's tense and I don't want to be bothered. See you in 7 hours, although there seems to be some discussion around the interwebs of sobbing afterwards. Oh nooo. I love the astronaut training stuff. 👩🏽‍🚀🚀 🌌

Illinois Congresswoman and notorious bigot Mary Miller posted an Islamophobic tweet this morning, realized she had made a mistake, and then posted an anti-Sikh tweet. She has since deleted the anti-Sikh tweet.

if you’ve ever wondered “who tf would invite a vampire into their home” please allow me to introduce you to

your inability to hold hate in your heart for more than one person at a time is a skill issue and you should work on it instead of being proud like this

It's frustrating because there were real mistakes during the pandemic! But you're not allowed to have adult conversations led by scientists in this country. You need to start with the premise that "extremists on both sides got things wrong" and work backwards.

As a Jew, Jonathan Greenblatt is a disgusting representation of us. I used to think the ADL did good work, but maybe I was young and mistaken. It was pre-internet, so I didn't see any bigoted content from them. Maybe it was easier to hide this side of their work?

What a wildly embarrassing filing.

This White House is never right about anything.

TRUMP: "How could you blab about the Epstein stuff?" MUSK: "We. Were. On. A. BREEEEEEAK!"

centrism means focusing on the good things bad people do and the bad things good people do

In case you need a TL cleanse, someone brought a wee baby skunk to Newhouse Wildlife Rescue

Yes! It is very baffling to me that people seem to think there is a debate over the efficacy of masks. There isn't! Masks work at the individual level to prevent the spread of COVID. There's a debate about mask *mandates*, the efficacy of which mostly comes down to compliance.

DOJ as we have known it, as a place where prosecutors from the AG on down do the right thing, for the right reason, in the right way, is over.

This is not going stop the focus on musk

from the profile Mike links. REALLY @nytimes.com? 293 days in a Russian jail counts as "briefly"???? what the ACTUAL fuck?

Wow. What a sign that criminal case against Abrego Garcia may be politically cooked up. "Schrader’s resignation was prompted by concerns that the case was being pursued for political reasons" Schrader spent 15 years in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Nashville and was chief of the criminal division

California, btw, is a donor state - it pays almost 90 billion dollars more in federal taxes than it gets back

A quick thought on “smuggling” vs. “trafficking,” two terms which Bondi used somewhat interchangeably. Generally, people pay to be smuggled; it’s a service. Trafficking, by contrast, is involuntary; no one wants to be trafficked. That distinction is key in thinking through the allegations.

This resignation seems important. I imagine the feds are crawling through every CECOT detained person's history looking for something to charge them with when they're forced to return them to the US. A government of thugs covering their asses.

A whole government made up of reckless, stupid, blustering guys who tell weird lies constantly and then have to do Uncut Gems Behaviors to try to make them seem true after the fact. Not what you want!

Thread 👇🏻 This is infuriating, and ridiculous. Stupid quotas just to be cruel when there isn't even enough room to detain people. There had better be legal consequences for these monsters.

Love those yellow Chucks!

If you don't like any of my posts/replies, don't follow me. Why would you follow random people from a list?! I understand following a list of journalists/lawyers/comedians/astronauts/artists or botanists. Why am *I* on a list? I don't blindly follow back. I don't want numbers, I want a connection.

This list is like the Avengers for people who only read airport books called something like "Leading Leadership for Leaders"

So are we just teaching our kids they have to obey anyone with a mask and an unmarked car and an oddly-fitting vest and zip ties now and go with them? Is this where we’re at?

half a mind to run for Congress and start a Backbone Caucus
