Yes I have been saying this in the PDOcast discord. Oilers depth were unlocked this off season because the D core can move the puck up. Leafs spent too much time chasing grit and toughness.

Stars were the team I was thinking about it with being a target maybe Panthers as well. Samoskevich being the target. I think Oilers should look into and see if they can make anything fit since they need to get younger.

Yes it is also way too much focus on when it does go wrong. Bouchard Pinched down and set up a good cross ice pass play the puck went the other way and Walman was able to cover. A positive play but would likely have people mad at Bouchard if it resulted in a goal.

That step up in the neutral zone on a 2 on 1 was risky but it got the tying goal so good job.
