Great point from Roland, and can't disagree. Joining as a port of last resort means the seeds of the next Brexit are sown. Europe should actively guard against this, and seek evidence of genuine pro-Europeanism in the UK

The American "deal" is a shake-down. Weakened and isolated by Brexit, we were easy pickings. Now we're being tariff "bounced" to fast agree the bad bits of the deal. Starmer gave it a shot. Now it's time to go home to our real partners, to the EU. www.lbc.co.uk/business/5f5...

What is the reason than for all the immigrants arriving on the Italian shores? Since we don’t have Brexit and we are in the EU… Pathetic reason… I tell you the reason, they are fleeing wars and poverty. Most of the time caused by British imperialism.

Just starting to create a hostile environment to others, always grows into a hostile environment fall everybody.

Man he really hates being called a taco, doesn’t he? Might even say he’s got a thin shell.

From the beginning, we knew that the EU would be blamed ⤵️ As we say in Auld French : mon Dieu, préservez-moi de mes ‘amis’, je me charge de mes ennemis. They don’t want a common future, do they @nialloconghaile.bsky.social ?

This is indeed legal nonsense - you can find the 90/180 day rule in Art 4 of the EU's visa list Regulation, with no suggestion that it's a minimum standard - eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/2018...
