I love musical theater, books, food, and family (not necessarily in that order).

The “Queen Consort,” like the “Queen Regent” is called just “Queen. Until Queen Elizabeth became Queen, her mom, Queen Consort (wife of the King) was called Queen Elizabeth. Once there was another QE, she became Queen Mom.

Growing up near Andover, MA, every adult I knew (if I knew their job) worked for Raytheon. I thought it was the place people worked when they became an adult.

Kids are rough. Someone told my teen and I that we looked like sisters. Later, my teen said, “you know she said that because I look older. You don’t look young.” Nice kid.

Living inside the 128 belt of Boston, I thought I was on the “North shore” because I was on the shores of 128 not because I lived near the ocean. 😬

I love Charles Martin! He lives not too far from me so our book club likes to read his books as “local author” reads. This one is really good.

Growing up 15 min north of Boston, everyone was Irish,Italian or Jewish. I was upset with a friend who said Boston was the most racist city he had ever visited. When I protested,he said, “you don’t think it’s racist because everyone looks like you.” He wasn’t wrong. Luckily, our worlds are growing!

I did not. I know very little about him (just a quick bio from the news). I’m hoping for the best. ☺️

This sounds lovely to me. I’m from Massachusetts (north US) and now living in Florida. The 32 degree weather today is already boiling me. Enjoy!

I love the homage to Thriller! My grandmother had MTV and my uncle, who lived with her, had a VCR. We taped the making of Thriller and watched it over and over again. That brought back memories. And, Mom fighting evil was the cherry on top. Congrats!

Good morning! My husband bought our house because, when he was touring the backyard, he could hear cows mooing. We are huge fans of cows and their puppy overlords. ☺️

Thanks for this post! It prompted me to look up eligibility rules. For years, I couldn’t donate blood (though I donated a kidney!) because I lived in London for 6 months. That ban was dropped and I didn’t realize it until my search tonight.

I’m sorry for your loss. Until I had an animal, I never truly understood the connection. 💔
