The latest trip to the theatre was to see Alterations at the National Theatre. It's a drama set in a 1970s tailors as the staff try to fulfil an impossible order. There are some good laughs along the way, but the final emotional punch isn't entirely believable. Overall, it is a good production.

The Monkey is the latest comedy horror film from Osgood Perkins and is an absolute riot. It is not trying to scare, but the tone and gore are absolutely spot on. Laughed out loud throughout, which might say more about me than the movie. Great fun, if you like that sort of thing.

Went to see Richard II at the Bridge Theatre last night. Jonathan Bailey was excellent with a great supporting cast, and it is a very well staged production. Highlight for me was the appearance of an actual artillery gun!
