The difficulty of life is to be embraced, but I'm a firm believer in also having these little pressure release treats, even if it's just a quiet walk outside. It's bad for you to live day after day with absolutely no pleasure or delight. Life becomes unendurable and we can't serve others well.

As someone who grew up with sweltering summers and then went on to live places where every house wasn't built with central AC, I have no time for ppl who treat severe weather as a test of personal ruggedness.
