the way i always understood it was that even if someone is an actual egg, telling them a certain feature of them is an indication they are trans or feminine, might make them suppress and not show that part anymore, because we still live in a culture where such expression is punished

i would say transgender_surgeries being marked nsfw is at least a plausible explanation as to why it got treated the same as porn subs, still under the assumption that this was an automated thing, and the system probably doesn't differentiate on the reason of the nsfw marking

as far as i understand currently the assumption is this is a glitch with a lot of nsfw subreddits and it will come back.
But its a good reminder that if reddit wanted to destroy this valuable community resource, they could at any time.
And with spez being an elon fan, its not that unlikely..

ich hab selber keine lust den controllfreaks geld zu geben deshalb habe ich meine eigene mediathek auf plex mit z.t. pirate stuff aber auch gekaufte blu rays "verflüssigt" (ripped)
