I'm so mad, I just finished the Alpha this weekend and didn't realize that until I was most of the way through. What were your thoughts on it?

Hate looking at these balance sheets when what I'm really tryna do is balance my equip weight to avoid the fatty dodge

Jesus. He looks like a resident evil tyrant

I remember the ippon datara summon being great for shutting them down

Probably! Letting you clear impurity as a ninja eventually implies that too, but I think it's smart of them to make you build up that familiarity with both styles's advantages and not just instantly stagnate into what you prefer, you know?
comment in response to post
Absolutely and I think that's precisely what the breaking red moves mechanic tries to teach you. I think I overall prefer ninja for the movement and hit and run quality but I enjoy and use both. Also some seem to hate it but I think gating weapons behind either of the classes is really smart

Yeah I had to take a couple whacks at it. Ended up winning by popping the devil trigger when she was at half health and trying to hit her exclusively from behind. The kodama summon for bonus elixirs didn't hurt either.

That's how I'd voice Deadpool if I got the job tbh

BL1 Pandora has a great vibe. It's dusty and quiet outside of gunfights and cutscenes which is the kind of vibe I think works for this kind of game. Agreed on the humor too. It's much drier and NPCs in 1 never overstay their welcome which is much more to my liking

I aporeciate 2&3's gameplay but BL1 is honestly still my favorite because the tone of the world doesn't make me want to turn my TV off.

The 2witch has been waiting so long to come out, it's more than ready to handle the Switch glitches

Japanese RPG in general elicit such a hateful response in people, it's honestly kind of sad. My brother made fun of me back in the day for playing it but imagine not opening your heart to FFX because of Tidus's outfit. Couldn't ever be me

I went back to finally finish the chalices and get the platinum last week and ended up starting a ng+1 🫣 Went from a kit that let me clear out dungeons easy to gear I'd hardly touched before and it's a crime how good everything in this game feels. There's really no "wrong" choices

Just finished it yesterday. They're so confident and capable in what they're doing with this game, it's great

Same. Hope you're having fun with the 2witch, mine got delayed to Sunday but I'm excited for Mario Kart ✨

Jesus Christ. Bad luck to them, hope they have to mark them down for the holidays because that's a terrible price

They shoulda bundled it with chips and soda for maximum product synergy. Amateurs

I want to believe. Stranger of Paradise with Nioh 3's open field structure would be so good
comment in response to post
Nioh 2 finishes you, not the other way around. It took me like two years to even get to the DLC
comment in response to post
I'm really happy because at this game seems like an iteration on that without the bloat but also bummed because I really wanted a *Nioh* Bakamatsu game
comment in response to post
Watched it at the office and had a feeling you'd be popping off at Bloodstained 2

If we take into account staff comments, the game was largely finished when he left. I'd imagine any major shifts in development or concepts would have already occurred while he was there. I can absolutely imagine friction existing between Matsuno and early aughts SE management
comment in response to post
It's very confusing that this took them so long considering the end result. Still excited and grateful but what did they have like three people working on it in alternating shifts?
comment in response to post
They absolutely catered this state of play for the PS1/PS2 heads. Love that most of these games look great and DON'T seem like they'll crumble to dust if they don't sell 6 millions

The funny thing is, especially lately, a lot of tall men have insecure energy so really it's all about having that shonenesque self-confidence. Figure yourself out and eventually life will too
comment in response to post
I've learned from many great men that being either short or bald is really inconsequential and, if you live life as you should, it really will have no bearing on what life offers you. Conversely, a person overly preoccupied with being "short" or "bald" will take from life what they can.

Oh that's just beautiful. Do you have a link 👀

The ugly ass three story mansions in the middle of nowhere in place of actual housing really makes you look at things differently

...are those just SRTs? That's so cool
