Also, fingers crossed for the job thing.

I am to the point that the most reasonable answer is that time travel is real and someone accidentally changed something, created an aberrant timeline, and keeps making it worse trying to fix it.

“Nobody has complained about the secret police you didn’t know were there” is quite the hill to die on.

Yup. AI isn’t just stealing jobs, it’s stealing the potential for better jobs later.

“Exploring the Effects of Coffee on Pre-Existing Emotional States” seems like a valid school project to me.

You can opt out of it. You just tell them you want to opt out and they pull you aside and check your passport.

I think those might be loons. At least they sound a lot like loons.

I missed this and have a question. Was she standing on the floor of Congress showing random nudes of herself, or was she somewhere else showing pictures of her naked in Congress.
I just want to properly level set the crazy.

I did my part. Along with the boiler plate, I added the following to personalize it:
“I feel like listening to a guy with a brain worm, who swims in e.coli infested water to prove he’s a man, and says we shouldn’t listen to him for health advice is ill advised.”

I’m at my Doctor’s office right now. They have a sign at check in that says if you don’t want to reveal PII verbally you can ask for a pen and paper. I avoid all that checking in online, but it’s nice they have a low tech option. Hopefully they shred those pieces of paper after.

Also, there are no fences at the Vatican City border. So anyone can come in.

Stuff like this is a big reason why I find edtech ai boosters so egregiously aggravating. We’ve had decades of research that shows how technological systems reinscribe discrimination yet folks happily hop on to the next tech bandwagon with little or no reflection.

We were just in Rome 9 months ago. There are signs all over the place saying not to climb the fences or go over the railing. They should put a picture of that guy impaled on a spike so folks see what can happens, because apparently many folks take those signs as suggestions instead of warnings.

We lived in Honolulu for eight years. I get it. Here’s me preparing to attend an early fall conference on the mainland.

I really never want to say someone’s health (mental or otherwise) made them a shitty person, but this really would explain a lot about his changes.

I was thinking he’s been dead behind the eyes way longer than that, but he does have a “Portrait of Dorian Gray” vibe, except he’s the portrait.

Unless the deal didn’t infuse any money into JK’s bank account, I don’t care what they think the are or are not infusing into the show.
Actually even then I’d still boycott it.

Here’s what I’m trying to figure out. Given they are gutting all scientific research, exactly who the fuck do they think is going to develop this miracle cure? Kennedy’s brain worm?

It’s OK if I’m vaping a strawberry cartridge while I’m cleaning my AK47, but brushing four times a day is a travesty against society and must be stopped at all costs.

Seems like it’s modeling middle aged white guys just fine. “Confident while fabricating an answer” is kind of our vibe.
