It's all about getting the concretes right! (have you seen my and @kayanem.bsky.social's stuff about character concretes?)

I get as far as Smith fairly regularly but have only ever reached Capaldi once as far as I recall.

At the memorial event for Terry in 2016. But I think discworld.com might sell them.

I was going to suggest it too, it's both not really about tennis, and entirely about tennis.

It's a new edition as part of the Penguin Modern Classics range, which collects Important Books. With a new introduction, foreword and notes.

Seconding the cinnamon buns! We took a detour for them on our way up the coast and it was worth it. I'd also recommend the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose which was a highlight of the trip for me.

I already spoke to them and they did say they'd post it back to me but the initial amount they suggested for recorded delivery was ridiculous. I said either send it more cheaply or I'd see if anyone local wanted it.

City of All Seasons by @oliverklangmead.bsky.social and Aliya Whiteley. I'm annoyed I left it because i'm halfway through and its really good!

Given the conversation we had, I'm honestly not sure. They were very young, and seemed to be interested in different perspectives, if only to understand their own better.

If you happen to be passing the Radisson, ask them if they've posted my book (that I left by accident) yet... if not, you can have it if you want! They were cagey about postage cost and I might as well buy a new one.

Some arrived at my house on my birthday once, when I was waiting for people to arrive for a party and had nothing else to do. We had a lovely chat and I made them a swap - they left me a copy of the Book of Mormon, and I gave them Small Gods by Terry Pratchett. I hope they read it.

I thought you might like to know in relation to this that last night I saw Wild at Heart and Lost Highway, both for the first time, at the cinema.

Oh I thought it was just me! Got home at 9ish to try and catch up on Eurovision and resorted to iplayer and chromecast

I am enjoying how everyone who's seen it is compelled to include the asterisk.

I am not Christian so my knowledge of the topic is weird and patchy and piecemeal but surely I am not alone in finding his first name hilariously apt?

I will, but probably delayed again on Thursday and with not-very-online friends on Saturday so probably won't be commentating. I suggest going to have a look at the delightful commentary from @catvalente.bsky.social and her followers though (and reading her book Space Opera!)
