The idea was born when Kegel’s Inn, Milwaukee’s historic German restaurant, sought a special beer for their 100th anniversary. Lakefront’s Head Brewer, Luther Paul, traveled to Munich to formulate the recipe with Hofbräu’s brewing experts, crafting a true-to-tradition Bavarian lager.

We hear you, that's considerate feedback. We agree it didn't get the recognition it deserved. We've since put Gosa Rita under the New Grist umbrella for better market awareness, maybe we can re-do the ba imperial version sometime down the road. It was a delicious beer.
