I understand the notion, generally, of Cuomo as an anti-Mamdani vote if it were somehow the case that the race is restricted to those two candidates, but it isn't, so I'm just stuck asking over and over again why NY Democrats settled on Cuomo for that role and all of my answers are pejorative

Can confirm. I used to take the Greyhound from MSU back home to Detroit sometimes when my parents weren’t able to pick me up when I was a student, and the Greyhound station was at the same place as the Amtrak station.

It is useful to be precise in our language about the Democratic party. There is an institutional Democratic party establishment that is lost and failing us right now. But when we use "Democrats" as a catch-all, there are whole swaths of activated everyday folks we alienate.

I didn’t realize so many people hated Jomboy. Based on what I have read today, it seems the hate is justified. Maybe I never had a chance to hate because my only interaction with the brand was watching lip reading videos and VERY occasionally breakdowns of pitch tipping on YouTube.
