I'd love to see libertarian rich folks advocating hard for the ultra wealthy to no longer receive these tax cuts. A devilish reasoning would be "the greater tax liability would enable us to do even more incentivized philanthropy to get liability down..." Wanna privatize the safety net? Prove it.

Phew, Microsoft Word for the cloud is like every feature of Google Docs but made, like, 15% less usable. Not bad enough to abandon when the client likes it, but slowly draining to deal with.

This hasn't been my best year, but on the "self-help to self-destruct" scale, I've contributed more to my own happiness this year. Circumstances, it seems, have been to blame for the most fun years, and this one would have been way worse if I didn't knuckle down on hard work and caring for myself.
