Exactly. He loves and admires McKinley, but where did McKinley end up? And what did his policies do to/for the American people? Also, how did the Canadians of that time respond to McKinley’s threats of annexation? History is repeating itself.

The guy isn’t drinking the booze, he’s selling it to bars to support his drug habit. There needs to be a crackdown on the bars buying the stolen alcohol. Additionally, our justice system needs to order mandatory drug rehabilitation in addition to jail time.

I’ve never understood this. In North America we say that drinking alcohol is bad, but in Europe it’s quite common to have a couple of drinks of either wine or beer every day and nobody bats an eye.
I say that as long as you don’t drive or neglect your kids, do as you will.

I agree with this. I don’t like the whole booing of any national anthem; I find it poor sportsmanship. I don’t think chanting “Fuck trump” is rude or demeaning. Alternatively, we could write alternate anti-trump lyrics and sing along.

That’s smart actually. I saw recently that most people are one paycheque away from losing their homes. It’s amazing how many people live paycheque to paycheque. My grandmother always told me to accumulate 3 months of living expenses. It took me 15 years to save, but I finally did it.

My daughter gets her 6 months vaccines tomorrow. As a parent, it’s just incomprehensible that anyone would not protect their children from something so preventable. I feel sad the parents of this poor child have to go through such torment to lose their child. I can’t imagine their grief or guilt.
