I had a huge crush on Pete Wentz back in 2007 when I was 16. Now, I'm a 33 year old college dropout who is a musician and songwriter. he/they.

It would’ve been nice to see her there be celebrated for her important accomplishments and contributions, as well as jamming on her bass guitar. But I get it. I get it. She doesn’t want to play the game.

I wished Milla had made more albums after “The Divine Comedy”. She would’ve been in good company with Alanis Morissette and Fiona Apple in the young female singer/songwriters of the ‘90s who are wise beyond their years department. 3/3 #MillaJovovich m.youtube.com/watch?v=6voQ...

When I first heard the album back in 2009, I was just blown away. Milla has a beautiful voice, has a quirky songwriting style, and the production on that album is absolutely amazing. It was giving me Kate Bush-Tori Amos vibes with the production, the quirky songwriting, and her voice. 2/3

As for Elliott Smith and Tangerine Dream? Tough to say. I feel like they would be considered too niche for the hall to be placed on the ballot and get an induction. 2/2 #RockHall #RockandRollHallofFame www.axios.com/local/clevel...

And she tried to come up with a bullshit excuse on why she posted a comment on Russell Brand’s gross MAGA post. I was like, “Girl, Bye.”

I don’t hate Benson Boone. His music is not for me.

Even though the song was written and recorded three years before that tragic night, it’s as if Al Green is singing the song from her perspective. Terrifyingly prophetic. 4/4 #AlGreen m.youtube.com/watch?v=7ll7...

She loved the man, she didn’t want to give him up. When he turned her down when she asked him to marry her, she thought he doesn’t love her anymore. 3/4

She did all of this because she was hurt when he told her he does not want to marry her. Despite already being a married woman with children, Mary Woodson saw Al Green as her entire world. 2/4

I don’t know about Lorde. I feel like Billie Eilish and Lana Del Rey have a much bigger shot at getting inducted in the future than Lorde. Too soon to tell, but I think Lorde should be inducted. She definitely started a trend in the 2010s that still carried over into the 2020s.

I think Paul secretly hates Oasis because he sees them as Beatles copycats 😏

My maternal great-grandmother Alice’s maternal great-great grandfather William Cockerham and Johnnie’s paternal great-grandfather Manuel were brothers. 3/3 #JohnnieCochran #BloodRelatives #Family

Bienville and Caddo are the areas where most of my relatives and ancestors on my mom’s mom’s mom’s side were living. I knew growing up the Cochrans are kinfolks, but I didn’t know how I’m related to them. 2/3

Teena Marie was and STILL is one of the most highly important figures in the black community.

Teena Marie is probably the only white R&B artist with such a huge impact and influence within the black community’s music and culture. 2/2 #TeenaMarie m.youtube.com/watch?v=R1Z2...
