The picnic basket wasn't appropriate for Prospera but I do in fact have cookies. (Hashtag-BestMom, etc.)

Valid, as one does. Mosaic hot tub is best.

Yeah, Ameliance was my first sewing focused cosplay.

Thank you!!! I am a baby sewist so it was a really neat challenge to alter the pattern and ensure all the seams were properly finished.

I got very lucky with my guesstimate on how much length to add to the pattern to match the skirt, it's within half a cm.

It's doooooone (well, up to handsewable stuff at least).

Mostly together. I'd planned to finish it tonight/this morning, but started making silly mistakes so it's time to sleep.
First time making a coat like this, so I'm trying to do it properly. Everything is French seamed where possible (even the pockets I added) to prevent fraying til I find lining.

CRIMES AGAINST HAIRSTYLING. (Accurate to the character in so many ways).

It's all cut out and interfaced! Time to take the Very Patient Pip (to the right in the photo) for a walk and then either swap to the other cosplay, or start sewing the jacket.

Back to work. Had visiting family help me pin the rough mock for the jacket, so I've taken in the waist considerably across all the parts and we're on to the final fabric today. Going to push to get it all sewn today and then do the finishing touches between baking and stuff tomorrow.

Custom-dyed and starting to style this wig.

Cuuuute! And sometimes it just works that way: one of Pip's littermates is only three and a half pounds.

Aww, pics? Pip is right at the middle of the weight range for papillons at 7.5lb.

Earl Grey Shortbread (or, well, Lady Grey so hints of rose with the bergamot and orange).

Spicy ginger cookie batter. I may do a batch of gluten-free ones but I don't do restricted ingredient baking on the same day as regular baking if I can help it, so maybe tomorrow.
Next up: Earl Grey shortbread cookies.
These will all be baked tomorrow or Wednesday and brought to #YetiCon !

@codenameminali.bsky.social is my friend who provided the beef noodle recipe and is my high school BFF. We need to pick your brain about where to get the best danbing apparently. :D

Aaaa, they're so CUTE.

Mockup is mostly done but definitely needs to be taken in at the sides, and perhaps the collar opening widened a bit.
It'll have to wait until visiting family is gone, though, so I've shifted to prepping the Yeti food. In this case, Taiwanese beef noodle to be frozen and brought along.
